What time does the Taj Mahal open for sunrise?

The Taj Mahal opens about 30 minutes before sunrise and closes 30 minutes before sunset. It is closed every Friday.

Is hotel pick-up in Delhi included?

Yes — pick-up and drop-off anywhere in Delhi, Gurgaon or Noida is included in a private air-conditioned car.

How long is the drive from Delhi to Agra?

About 3.5 hours each way via the Yamuna Expressway.

How fast is the Gatimaan Express?

It runs at up to 160 km/h, covering Delhi to Agra in about 100 minutes — the fastest train in India.

Are train tickets included?

Yes, executive-class seats with meals are included both ways.

Is this food walk vegetarian-friendly?

Yes — the route includes vegetarian-only stops, and the walk can be run fully vegetarian on request.

Is the Jaipur–Varanasi flight included?

Yes, a direct economy flight is included in the package price.

Is this itinerary suitable for children?

Yes — the pace is relaxed with rest afternoons built in, and the boat ride on Lake Pichola is usually a highlight for younger travellers.

What are the chances of seeing a tiger in Ranthambore?

Sightings can never be guaranteed, but with two safaris in peak season (October–April) most guests see at least one tiger.

When is Ranthambore National Park open?

The park is open from 1 October to 30 June and closed during the monsoon (July–September).

How many days do you need for the Golden Triangle?

Three days is the minimum comfortable duration; four to five days lets you slow down. The circuit covers about 720 km connecting Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.

Is this tour suitable for first-time visitors to Agra?

It works best as a second visit — pair it with a Taj Mahal tour on a separate day for the fullest picture of the city.

What is the best time for the Mehtab Bagh view?

Late afternoon, close to sunset, when the Taj Mahal's marble catches the warm light across the river.

What is the 'Baby Taj'?

Itimad-ud-Daulah's tomb, built a decade before the Taj Mahal, was one of the first Mughal structures in India built entirely from white marble with pietra dura inlay — many historians see it as a direct precursor to the Taj.

Is Khajuraho family-friendly?

Yes — the carvings cover a wide range of subjects (mythological, daily life, and some intimate scenes), and guides can tailor the commentary for a family audience on request.

How early do we leave Delhi?

Typically 6:00–6:30am, to make the most of the day in Jaipur before the ~4.5 hour drive back.

Is lunch included?

Yes — lunch at a local restaurant in Agra is included in the price.

Can we bring phones or cameras into Akshardham?

No — Akshardham has strict security and does not allow phones, cameras or bags inside; these can be left at a free cloakroom at the entrance.

Is this tour on foot or by car?

A mix — a private car between sites, with walking sections through the fort and the bazaar.

Is the rickshaw ride included in the price?

Yes, the cycle-rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk is included.

Is this tiring for one day?

It's a long day — roughly 14–16 hours door to door — but the drive is on the Yamuna Expressway and the pace at each site is unhurried. Most guests find it very doable.

Which UNESCO World Heritage Sites are included?

Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar complex, and the Red Fort — all three of Delhi's UNESCO-listed sites.

How long is the train journey to Agra?

Under two hours each way on the express services, compared with 3.5+ hours by road.

Is this tour suitable for children?

Yes — the pace is relaxed with daily driving under 5 hours, and child seats are available on request.

Do you book the flights for me?

We can arrange the Mumbai–Delhi–Mumbai flights on request, or you can book your own and simply share the itinerary with us — either way the car and guide are timed to your flight.

Are monument entry fees included?

Yes, all entry tickets, the rickshaw ride and lunch are included.

Is this tour private or a shared group?

What time is the Wagah Border ceremony?

The retreat ceremony runs shortly before sunset year-round; exact timing shifts with daylight hours and we confirm it locally the day before.
